Don’t go too nuts on nuts:
Nuts are a great low-carb snack, but go easy on them. They’re very high in inflammatory omega-6’s (exactly what we’re trying to minimize in a paleo diet) and contain the same anti-nutrients as grains which interfere with mineral absorption and can upset the stomach. If you can, try soaking and drying your nuts to minimize anti-nutrient content (this is what traditional cultures would do) and stick to just a handful or two a day.
