New On-Ramp Program

We will be running monthly group on-ramps for beginners starting in May. The group on-ramp consists of 12 one hour classes with a maximum of 6 people per group. Classes run from 7:15pm to 8:15pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. The cost is $145, and upon completion of the course, participants are eligible to sign up for a three month membership special at $100 per month prepaid ($300 for 3 months of unlimited classes!).

FAQ:

What if I have to miss a class?

If you have to miss a couple sessions, don't worry because we'll be reviewing movements from previous classes throughout the course. If you have to miss more than one or two classes, we can schedule one discounted personal make up session to cover movements you missed for an additional $25. Any sessions beyond that will default to personal training rates.

Can I start at any time?

Group classes have a set beginning and end date and follow logical progressions for building up in skill and intensity. It is important to take the sessions in order. You can always schedule a private on-ramp if you are eager to get started sooner.

What will classes be like?


The On-Ramp is designed to start out slow and get progressively more complex in skill and higher in intensity to prepare you for the regular group classes. We will focus on technique and learning good movement patterns. A typical class will include a warm-up, review of a previous skill, instruction and practice of new exercises, and then a short workout containing new and review exercises. Beginners can practice movements with light weight and at a lower intensity. More experienced participants can start building up in weight and push the workouts to a higher intensity.

What should I bring on the first day?

It is important to be on time for these sessions. On the first day, you'll need to sign a waiver prior to starting class. All you need to bring with you is athletic attire, a water bottle, and a willingness to try your best and have some fun! We have two bathrooms (and one shower) if you need to change at the gym. There are cubbies to store your stuff, or you can put it in the front of the main room. We do not have a locker room. Parking is free on the street for 2 hours (just watch for street sweeping days).

What if I can't make these days/times?


We offer private on-ramps for individuals or small groups scheduled at your convenience. If we can pair you up with someone else who would like to schedule at the same time, we will do our best to find you a workout partner or two to reduce costs of private training.
