Continuing CrossFit


Upon completion of the On-ramp, you can continue to improve your fitness by joining our group CrossFit Workouts of the Day (WODS). The group WOD is offered at various hours to challenge athletes of all levels. The coach will lead you through the warm-up, skill practice, workout, and cool down. Please arrive on time and stay throughout the entire class to show your support for other members!

The workouts are prescribed for the elite athlete and should be appropriately scaled to each athlete's abilities to ensure the safety and efficiency of the program. There is a high learning curve for the movements in CrossFit--spend the time to work on mastering your form at lighter weights before adding intensity.

Additionally, we offer a variety of additional classes to help improve flexibility, strength, technique, and other areas of fitness, all included in the cost of your group membership.  Please check our schedule for more information!


If you are transferring to Grassroots, we require you to have completed an On-ramp at another CrossFit affiliate or to have a minimum of 6 months experience working with a CrossFit trainer. Please contact us to confirm your experience and to schedule a time to check out the gym. Once we have confirmed your experience, you may sign up for a membership plan and join the group classes.


If you are in Berkeley for a limited time, we welcome you to drop in and continue your training with us! Drop ins must have completed an On-ramp or worked with a CrossFit trainer for a minimum of 6 months. If possible, please contact us prior to dropping in to confirm your experience and to let us know when you'll be visiting.

A single drop in is $20, or $30 with a Grassroots T-shirt. If you are staying for an extended period, we offer a $50 unlimited weekly membership. We also love shirts from affiliates all over the world--bring us a T-shirt and we will waive one of your drop-in fees!!
